The Last Fling Pumpkin Sling will feature Food and Craft Vendors, Entertainment, Contests and more.
The Last Fling Pumpkin is being held atop of Montana Mountain, in beautiful Harmony Township, Warren County, New Jersey. The field is a large hay field and we will be set up there for the day for some fun with pumpkins. If you are interested in starting your day by visiting a working farm that has pumpkin picking and apple picking and hay rides, we suggest you download the Warren County Tourism Guide and flip to pages 7-10 for a list of pick your own farms, farm stands and farmers market.
On October 19th, the 19th Annual Tour of Historic Pohatcong will be taking place. Incorporate a stop into your visit to our area.
Some nearby options include Mackey's Orchard, a New Jersey century farm that has a farm market with fresh, high quality produce and bakery. Pick-your-own apples and pumpkins are available as well as fresh pressed cider made from apples harvested on the farm. If you are traveling via Rt. 80 and County Route 519, stay on Route 519 past Brass Castle Road, taking an alternate route, and its on the way to the Pumpkin Sling. (Rt. 519 to Harmony Brass Castle Road, to Montana Road)
Visit the West Portal Pumpkin Patch, in Asbury, practice site of Team Chucky. Enjoy a hay maze, corn maze, hay rides and more. If you are traveling via Rt 78 its a short detour off the highway, on your way to the Pumpkin Sling.
Take a walking tour of Victorian Belvidere
Take a hike at Merrill Creek Reservoir
Hike one of the nearby NJ Audubon Skylands Birding and Wildlife Trails.
Visit the Jim and Mary Lee Morris Canal Museum, open select Sunday of the month, April through October.
Scout out a Christmas Tree Farm and plan to return with your family to cut your Christmas tree this winter. Stop by our pumpkin supplier, Clucas Farms West, on County Rt. 519 for to pick up all your trimmings!
